Dr Rechard Noor is the Managing Director of W-Tech Manufacturing, Managing Director of Fibretek Manufacturing and Group Director at H&M Group. He has previously held Board positions as a non-independent Director of the Western Province Cricket Association.
A successful business man specialising in the Manufacturing Industry with over 38 years’ experience and PhD graduate with the Nelson Mandela University, Rechard Noor holds several board memberships focusing on Strategic management of the HM Group, including Drycoat Manufacturing, Impregnation Web Technology, Dap Resins (Pty) Ltd, G-Force Fabrication, GRP & Composites, W-Tech Manufacturing, MD, Fibretek Manufacturing, MD.
His commitment to participative management and human capital development has seen him implement the findings of his research into decentralised power for organisational effectiveness with great success and has made a significant contribution towards Radical Transformation and Sustainability for an Advanced Manufacturing Industry. He continues to implement the findings of his latest research focussing on the development of Human Capital for the advancement of the individual, the organisation, and the community at large.
A seasoned school governor, Rechard Noor has redirected the course of many schools through promotion of clean governance and the development of talent for the well-being of the organisation, its effectiveness and individual growth. He has served on the School Governing Bodies of Plumstead Pre Primary, John Graham Primary and Bergvliet High School. His commitment to social responsibility and non-governmental organisations sees him serving on the boards of the Ocean View Association for People with Disabilities and previously on the Board of Miracle Kidz Home for abused children, Western Province Cricket Association and many other organisations. He is the former Chairman of the Victoria Cricket Club where he previously served as Executive Member and Treasurer 2014-2018. He is a longstanding advisory board member and current Chairman for Operations Management of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
His social development services to the Western Province Cricket Association, and other NPO’s is an expression of his commitment to meaningfully contribute to the well-being and collective growth and development of society placing the needs of humanity at the forefront of his objectives.
